Newell’s was notified that it will be awarded the subsidy of the Emergency Assistance Program for Work and Production.
By these hours Newell’s receives via email the approval notification of the Emergency Assistance Program for Work and Production.
The club has already complied with the administrative requirements and loaded the CBU numbers of the employees into the system. It is expected that next week they will begin to deposit the subsidy in the staff salary accounts.
The club had already registered for the Productive Recovery Program (Repro) but with the update of the decree, it was enabled to access the Emergency Assistance Program for Work and Production (ATP).
The monetary difference between Repro and ATP is significant, while in the first the amount will be a minimum of $ 6,000 and a maximum of $ 10,000 per worker, in the second program the minimum will be 1 Minimum Living and Mobile Salary in force $ 16,875 and a maximum 2 Current Minimum Living and Mobile Wages $ 33,750, per employee.
Although the funds from the Emergency Assistance Program for Work and Production cannot be used to pay salaries for the professional staff, they will be able to meet the salaries of some 400 permanent staff.
